Welcome to Highland Massage. These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Highland Massage (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“the client”). By booking or receiving services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Services

We offer professional sports massage therapy services. These treatments are designed to support the well-being and recovery of clients but are not a substitute for medical care. Our therapists are not authorized to diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions.

2. Appointments & Bookings

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate subsequent appointments, but the full session price will be charged.
  • Booking Process: Clients can book appointments online, by phone, or in person. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation email or message.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to [Percentage]% of the session cost.

3. Payment

  • Payment for services must be made at the time of the appointment unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • We accept the following forms of payment: cash and debit/credit cards except Amex
  • All fees are subject to change, but clients will be informed in advance of any changes.

4. Health Conditions

  • Client Responsibility: Clients must inform the therapist of any health conditions, recent injuries, surgeries, or allergies that may affect the treatment.
  • Contraindications: If you are unsure whether sports massage therapy is suitable for your condition, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.
  • Medical Referrals: In certain circumstances, we may require a medical referral or clearance before providing treatment.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • All client information provided is confidential and will be treated in accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy. No client information will be shared without consent, except as required by law.
  • We may retain treatment records for legal and medical purposes.

6. Liability

  • While we strive to provide the best care, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the client due to incorrect information provided by the client or failure to follow post-treatment care instructions.
  • Our therapists are fully insured and adhere to professional standards and guidelines.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards therapists and staff. Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.
  • Therapists have the right to refuse service if they feel unsafe or if the client fails to comply with these terms.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or communicated through other means.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
